Q:  Can we bring food into the venue?
A:  Yes, you are welcome to bring food.  Food is also available for purchase inside the Riverstage venue.

Q:  Can we bring eskys into the venue?
A:  Eskys may be brought into the venue, however, large esky's cannot be taken into the front section of the seating area and must be kept in the back section.  You may also be asked to open your esky for inspection by security as you enter the venue.

Q:  Can we bring alcohol into the venue?
A:  No.  This is a family event in a public venue, so alcohol is not permitted.

Q:  Can I smoke in the venue?
A:  Carols in the City is a family event in a public venue and the Riverstage is a no smoking venue, so smoking is strictly prohibited in the seating areas.  However smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only.

Parking

Q:  Is Disabled Parking Available?
A:  Yes.

Seating

Q:  Can we take in chairs?
A:  Chairs may be taken into the venue, however, chairs are not permitted in the front section of the seating area and must be kept in the back section.  This is to prevent blocking of the view and to allow more people to sit closer to the stage.  Additionally, much of the front section is sloped and not really suitable for chairs.  A better option than chairs is to bring a rug or mat to sit on.

Q:  Is seating for the wheelchair-bound available?
A:  Yes.

Children

Q:  The Riverstage website says that children under 6 are not permitted in the venue.  Does this apply to this event?
A:  No, this rule does not apply to Carols in the City.

Q:  Can we bring a pram?
A:  Yes, prams may be brought into the venue, however, prams are not permitted in the front section of the seating area and must be kept in the back section.  This is to prevent blocking of the view and to allow more people to sit closer to the stage.

Pets

Q:  Can pets be brought into the venue?
A:  No, pets are not permitted in the Riverstage venue.
